This product will work for your sentry floor safe. BUT you must unscrew the existing ends of the original Sentry gas strut and remove the spring. Remove the ends on the new Arana strut, put the spring on and reassemble using the old attachment ends. Put the bottom pin in first and then snap into place. Worked great. FYI I ordered ‘other brands’ an Amazon that said it was a replacement but they didn’t work. If need be the rods can also be swapped out on the existing and new gas strut.

    Great replacement

The media could not be loaded.

For the price, these struts are exactly what I needed for my vertical drawer lid (~5 lbs) and I only had to use one of them. But the silver balljoint brackets bend out of place extremely easily if you don’t install the struts with accurate geometry. Luckily the brackets bend back with plyers just as easily as they bent out of place, but I wish they didn’t bend at all! Four stars. They were the cheapest option and still work for me.

    Perfect for my boat hatches.

No one dislikes about the product. The shocks are awesome. They work really well and they’re strong, and the price is right

After trying and retourning shocks from 2 different brands i found the ARANA shocks. They have been working really well, really good quality.

These struts were very easy to install in the trunk lid of my Mazda Miata. They work perfectly.

Put them in my toolbox that had a used up Strut and it fit with no issue. Very strong for a toolbox lid.

    GOOD PRICE, WORK PRETTY GOOD

Push these for a toy box lid with measured weight of 9 lb. Purchased both the 10 lb and the 18 lb rated struts. Finicky as you must get the geometry exactly perfect or they will prevent the lid from either opening fully or closing fully. Although they have enough strength to hold the lid open in a 90° position straight up they are absolutely not soft close and it would not recommend them for a toy box or anywhere little fingers or little hands maybe involved as they are absolutely not soft close struts and will still allow the lid to slam shut hard. As other commenters purchasers have stated the brackets are very soft and will be bent and damaged if you have to remove the strut from the bracket to adjust fitment. Also recommend you take the provided screws and toss in the trash and replace with quality screws as they are soft and will strip out.
