Works great in my car and not as expensive as other similar holders

I installed this in my 2023 Corvette. I have a few cars and have been using the magnetic holders that clip in to the cars ac/heating vents. Though not perfect they work pretty well and I use them in all my cars. The vents in this car are not compatible with the magnetic holder. I gave this cup holder thing a try. I don’t like giving up a cup holder spot in this car but it’s the only real alternative I had.
This holder fits well and is sturdy. My iPhone 6S (yes I know it’s old but I don’t beleive in updating things for the sake of updating with no improvement for my purposes) in it’s case fits well. The holders phone release works well. The space for the charging cord is positioned well. The downside. The grip on the phone could be better. If the holder is not angled back to an almost flat position the phone tends to slip out of the holder. The case is not bulky at all and is very slim. Maybe a bulkier case would hold better. I solved this by wrapping a rubber band around each of the gripping sides and it works to keep the phone in place. Should you have to do this to an item you bought for this simple function-NO. This should have been taken into account in the design process. Not a difficult fix. I gave it 4 stars because overall the product is good. And I was able to solve this issue at no cost as I have no shortage of rubber bands lying around. Maybe I should have rated it a 1 or a 2 because it does not do well the 1 thing it’s designed to do. But, the issue was easily fixable. That’s my 2 cents worth.

Purchased 2, one for my car, one for my husband’s. Easy to install, sturdy, worked well. Unfortunately, my husband’s broke at the 11 month mark – the clamp that holds the phone in place broke. Mine broke at the year mark, the part that tightens to hold the phone in get cup holder broke and won’t tighten any longer, just turns and turns, doesn’t catch. For the price, should last longer than 12 months. Disappointed, won’t buy again.

Easy to assembly, no tools. Very sturdy. No shake or vibration. Pleasant viewing height and angle. Works well in the furthest cup holder #3 in my center console of my 2013 Silverado, does not interfere with opening of console lid or placement of drink and fries in cup holders 1 and 2. Buying a second one for the car.

I love this phone holder, once I figured out how to work the lower portion
cup holder lock. The instructions easily walked me through adding the part that holds the phone securely at the top of the arm, but I could not release the bottom portion. I used the holder several times by just wedging some paper around the bottom portion while in the car cup holder, but this was not satisfactory long term. The ring at the bottom had the word “release” with an arrow, so I kept trying to turn it in that direction to “release” it, but it would not budge. I finally turned it the other way, and with some resistance, it turned, and I was then able to adjust it to fit securely in the cup holder. I then realized that the “release” direction, was to help you release the device from the cup holder and not secure it! Once this obstacle was overcome, the phone holder worked perfectly! The phone grip easily tightens in on the phone by pressing it together and a button on the back smoothly opens the grip. It has several needed adjustments to easily swivel and position the phone for your best viewing. It does not wobble and remains very sturdy, once installed correctly. There is a cord cut out so you can charge your phone while in use, which is great on a long trip. I highly recommend this phone holder, as it’s a good product for a great price, unlike the very similiar expensive name brand holder!

Since my car has vertical (not horizontal) slats on my air vents and my dashboard doesn’t have any appropriately flat surface to accommodate the other styles of cell phone holders, I took a chance on this one; and it’s excellent! The base adapts to fit snugly in my cup holder, the height is adjustable and the balljoint at the top allows you to perfectly adjust the angle & position of your phone for best visibility. Although I’ve only had it for a month or so, it seems VERY well made and will likely hold up well over time. Highly recommend!
