Honda CR-V 2007, it works perfectly, good price, good quality, look like the oem part !!! Excellent!!! You don’t need to do extra thing to get it works, just plug and that’s it !!!

My 2009 Honda CRV started making the horrible sound when you lock and unlock. Completely annoying. Searched in google for the problem and found it to be this. Ordered with prime got it in 2 days. And with the help of you tube I was able to change this piece out myself. Have a new working lock again

My 2010 Honda CR-V was having problem with fob locking/unlocking doors. Replacing the actuator was the fix for me!

This wasn’t as easy for me as for some of the other folks who reviewed the product. Took me about 6 hours(!). Didn’t help that I had to drill out 2 of the 3 mounting side panel bolts. Hooking up the rod to the door handle was tricky, it kept popping off. Ended up I had to use the original plaster fastener. The door lock assembly would be easier if I had more room to maneuver to the right position and that took some time, be careful with the plaster cap holding the cable back to the actuator. I broke a tab or two, luckily still enough to hold the cable in place. The other two cables from the inside door handle was much easier, just disconnect/reconnect to latch and pop in place. All in all it was a good learning experience, plus saving over 200 hundreds plus for labor is definitely worth it and that is just quote from a corner mechanic, dealership will cause much more. In closing with my lengthy review hoping to help someone else decide. It is certainly doable, do view the online youtube video to get a better idea and you should be fine.

Installed by a certified mechanic. The door closed and locked but never did release. We had to use a hammer to get it out. The latch would not open either manually or electrically. We got a certified Honda replacement part from another supplier and it worked just fine. I wrote the company complaining about the product but never got a response. I would definitely recommend this product

Great online instruction video’s on YouTube. Disassembly and installation took about 2 hours. Lock actuator fit perfectly. Only thing that did not match up was the threads on one screw. It was an easy fix. Was able to open up and swap out the threaded part with the old one. Wish unit would have included the three screws on the side of the actuator. The original ones mounted on the side of the door were so tight that stripped out easily. Had to drill out and replace with new screws. Everything works just great.

Everything pretty much lined up perfectly. Getting the arms in blind was a challenge but, it’s do able with some patience and/or luck. The mechanism itself works smoothly although very slightly louder in operation.

The three main screws holding it to the door ended up stripping out and I had to drill em but, I was able to source em from my local dealership for about $3 a piece.

I have had over 30 years of experience in the automotive field and I would say this vehicle was one of the most difficult locks to install.
They work perfectly and are so quiet when you lock your doors you will want to double check since you did not hear them lock. Its been a few months now and they are still supper quiet.
Also on this vehicle type if you are having locks that sporadically lock and unlock while driving then replacing them with these will stop the problem.
Would recommend to anyone. These are less that 1/5th of the prices if you get it from the dealer and about 1/2 the price from standard auto parts stores.
