For the price, these foam sprayers aren’t bad, but there are better. Rather than a true compressor, this is more of a diaphragm pump that only runs while simultaneously spraying. It works, but is loud and inefficient.
Pulling the trigger pumps air in and solution out, doing so for 5-10 seconds builds just enough pressure that a half-pull will spray without the pump, but only for ~10 seconds. This dance gets annoying and you will inevitably use it with the pump continuously running. For home/hobbyist, this is fine and it does the job well enough, but foam sprayers with stronger push-button compressors aren’t that much more expensive.

As I get older, I continue to seek tools to make my life easier and the Aokway electric car foam sprayer is one of those tools. I got this foam sprayer to clean my bathrooms in tandem with my battery powered scrub brush (another of my “making-my-life-easier” tools). The Aokway foam sprayer worked great. I just filled it with foaming cleaning soap and sprayed away. I used the scrub brush, and everything looked better afterwards with a great deal less elbow grease.
Moving to the outside – well let’s not, it is in the twenty’s as I write this review in January 2025 – so we will not be going outside to try the Aokway foam sprayer on my car. I am sure that it will work on my car as well as inside the house. It will keep me from having to connect my pressure washer foam sprayer to either my electric- or gas-powered pressure washer and then connect them to my water hose and so forth. The Aokway sprayer works independently of a pressure washer or water hose – a big plus.
The Aokway foam sprayer is a slightly better value than similar sprayers. It is priced a little lower and it has the same or similar features. The battery charges quickly via a USB cord and the charge lasts a long time. There are a couple of shortcomings of the Aokway sprayer–it does not have a battery readout, and it needs a larger handle one with a gripper holding surface. The Aokway sprayer does have a safety lock, and it will remain upright by itself when it is empty or full.
Aesthetically, I think that the color of the base of the Aokway sprayer should be a more visually pleasing color. The pewter gray is too plain – a brighter color would add to the look of this quality sprayer. It has a good, rugged feel but it is refined enough to do the work expected of it.

This automatic foam spray tool is great for home car care and replaces the 8 dollar hand pump one. It has a spreader nozzle that creates a wide spray profile, and even foamed up my non-foam detergent a little. It’s easy to use with just one lockable button and charges by USB C.

I had my doubts about this but with enough soap it produces a decent amount of foam. It’s not even close to what a foam cannon and pressure washer can produce I but I also didn’t it expect that. I will say it is kind of loud. It sounds like a tire compressor. Capacity is enough to do a mid sized sedan. Larger vehicles may need a refill. I did two cars in a row and the battery was still going.
The bottle seems durable and has measurement marks on it but you can’t se through it all. The power switch doubles as the trigger lock. Pushing from the locked to unlocked position is a bit tough.
I did the foam test for this review but what I really got this for is to apply rinseless wash. I would normally apply it with my IK pump sprayer but using this battery powered one is so much easier not having to constantly pump up the pressure.
There are better battery powered foam sprayers out there but they are expensive. This one is not bad though. If you can get it for around thirty dollars I’d say go for it.

It produces a good amount of foam, helping to loosen dirt for a better clean. Great for quick and effortless car washes, but the battery life could be a factor for longer cleaning sessions. Overall, a handy tool for car enthusiasts!

This cordless car foam spray is pretty cool. I love of convenient of not having to attach a water hose to it. The compact size makes it easy to store. You can also use it around the house and yard. I plan on using this for my car and to wash my house windows. It’s does come with a USB for charging. I haven’t test it yet as it’s still cold outside but I am looking forward to using it.

I’m reviewing Aokway The Electric Car Wash Foam Sprayer, Battery Powered, USB Rechargeable, Cordless, Car Cleaning Kit and Detailing.
My husband enjoys his cars and keeping them in nice condition. He liked using this foam sprayer to help get his cars clean and shiny. He found it to create a fine foam that did a nice job breaking up dirt and grime. He said it’s easy to use. It looks to be well made and durable.
As a side note, this Aokway The Electric Car Wash Foam Sprayer is made in China.

This is a very nice sprayer. Its electric design eliminates the need for manual pumping to pressurize it, and the motor pressurizes it very effectively. The motor is a bit loud, however. I also wish it included an adjustable tip, rather than just a fan tip; a cone spray tip would make spraying cleaner onto surfaces like vehicle wheels easier. The fluid canister is made of very thick plastic and feels exceptionally durable. The ability to charge it with a USB-C connector is a significant advantage, making it very easy to use. The price is worthwhile.
