They say to replace your wipers every 6 months, but despite their impossibly low price when sold as an add-on on Amazon I have found these ANCO wipers to far exceed the performance and durability of the more expensive blades I’ve purchased in the past at places like Canadian Tire. I mean, I’ve bought $25+/blade wipers in the 25+ years I’ve been on the road, caught up in marketing double speak and promised of space age material and new blade designs.
I was researching, possbily in Consumer Reports, wipers a few years ago and these ones were highly recommended for their price so I gave them a shot. I live through a few months of sub zero weather in Canada, lots of salty roads and slushy Februarys and Marches, these wipers didn’t show signs of needing replacements until they were just about a year old. Visual inspection shows they held up well too.
Extremely minimal noise and streaking, I will definitely continue to use ANCO 31-series for my Cruze for the foreseeable future. Both the 17″ and 22″ have had the same performance for me.

Overall these are great blades, especially at this price point. Compared to other brands costing up to 4-5 times as much, they hold up well and keep the cost down. With all products being made out of cheaper garbage all the time, these blades are my go-to because they last about 2 years on average. Besides, if one does get a little worn it’s not a big loss at this price. They hold up to both summer sun and winter ice here in New England, which is pretty tough on wiper blades.

I was looking for wipers for our Toyota Rav . We went to the dealer for oil change and they tried to sell us some very nice factory Toyota expensive ones but we want an alternative wipers. I went to Walmart and they were OK price but not as good as Amazon. These wipers were about a eighth of an inch longer than the original factory ones but that made it even a better fit because that more of the windshield gets cleaned . I have had the series of Ancho on my other car and they work great. They do not crack in the winter time with a lot of snow , another thing that I noticed is that they don’t squeak when there’s very little water on the windshield. Another thing that I like that there is no streaking . This may sound strange but I only bought one wiper for the driver side. I wanted to see if it works on one side instead of going head and buying the passenger side. But after having these I’m definitely going to get the passenger side. As a matter fact I’m going to go ahead and get the rear ones also . I wish they were just sell the rubber insert versus the whole arm. But for the price you really can’t beat it might as well go ahead and pay for the whole arm and not feel bad about it. I definitely recommend these over the other high-performance wipers that you see that on the market especially at AutoZone.
