Very good quality. It’s hard to find one that takes gasoline but this one does. Had a problem with the nozzle but the manufacturer sent me out another one and now have no complaints.

Recieved yesterday and put it straight to work! Worked like a dream. Husband loves it and that it is MADE IN THE USA, was a nice perk. Easy to use and did the job required of it!

With a 93 year old Father in Law that loves to help out and nearly 5 acres to mow, some facility for self-service of fueling the mower was in order. He’s healthy enough but filling the mower’s 8-gallon tank from 5-gallon jerry cans just wasn’t practical for him.
We’d previously mowed with a small tractor (for which we have a 225-gallon tank with pump for diesel), but a good portion of the mowable area is a bit bumpy and dad would feel beat up at the end of the session. The zero-turn’s superior suspension and wider stance solved that.
This tank allows me to obtain a considerable amount of gasoline in one trip and lets dad pump it into the mower with ease. So far, it’s (mostly) worked great … but there are some things to consider before purchasing it.
There are slots in the base for forks. While the plastic from which the tank is made seems sturdy enough, there are warnings in the documentation about the regular use of forks for handling the tank. We’ve decided to use nylon webbing straps hooked to the bucket on our tractor to move it on and off the pickup truck. Far less wear-and-tear, and a bit more convenient than installing the forks every time we need to refill the tank.
The nozzle has been problematic. We’ve had a situation where it refused to dispense; it seems there was something blocking the venturi mechanism that disengages the nozzle’s trigger handle when the gas tank you’re filling is full. We eventually got it working again ourselves, but while troubleshooting we contacted the vendor and getting resolution from them appears to be a pain in the butt.
AM-TANK wanted video proof of the issue and apparently only supports WhatsApp for communication, which I don’t have nor care to obtain. I uploaded the video to YouTube and was eventually able to provide a link by embedding it in a PDF and uploading it through Amazon’s vendor communication feature (which strips out web site addresses included in the message text). While creating the video, though, the nozzle eventually started working again and so far, has functioned properly.
Another concern is the included ground strap (strongly recommend for use when filling the tank to prevent static discharge). It’s just a simple, vinyl-insulated 16ga braided wire with no additional mechanical support. Regular use will have it snapping off in no time. I’d recommend its replacement with a better quality, more flexible wire designed for frequent coiling-uncoiling.
Finally, the switch that controls the pump does not have solidly positive detent positions. We’ve found the switch in the “on” position after simply moving the tank, and just a small nudge will have it click to the on position when off. We’ve taken the added precaution of installing a short cable with a clip on the end that locks the switch in the off position when we’re not using it.
In the end, though, we’re satisfied and are reasonably confident that it will serve our needs.

Purchased last year to refuel portable diesel generators they we deploy during emergencies. We have used it several times and it works great. Of course it can be transported in a pickup, but it also fits in the bed of our Can-Am Side-by-Side without going over the bed weight limit (remember diesel weighs about 6.7 lbs/gal. – I think it weighs just over 400 lbs. when full).
Transfers fuel just like you’re at a gas station. No issues with transferring fuel to the gensets. It works and I am glad we have it.
Two things could be better. 1) The lid needs a ram, or something that can hold it open. When filling or coiling/uncoiling the hose in the back of a truck, the slightest breeze will send that lid down on your hands/head. We ended up removing the lid due to that hazard and because our Can-Am having an overhead rack that gets in the way. 2) The “integrated forklift pockets” are about an inch too narrow for even our small Yale forklifts. Means we want to keep it near empty when not in use otherwise loading/unloading from the truck or SxS is a hassle. I am probably going to make a custom low-profile pallet to keep under it (haven’t got around to that).

Shipped quick, looks good, LEAKS. Over $1500 for a gasoline bulk tank with pump and this is what I get? I can’t return because it now has gas in it…

I use to fill my home heating oil. The tank is light enough to move by myself. Durable and easy to use. Transfers diesel quickly. I don’t like that the lid stands straight up when open, easily blows down in light wind. Lid needs a gas strut or detent or pin to hold open. A little expensive. Will take me about 3 years to break even on my purchase.

Hose is 3/4” ID when you add a water /diesel seperator filter housing. Not 5/8”s ID.
If tired of 5 gallon tanks save up and buy. You won’t regret it.
Saves on gas on your vehicle making trips and saves on paying ridiculous on-road diesel if you are able to get off-road/dyed diesel within range.
Pump does create diesel to foam so adding a filter after the pump will help on that.
Tank does bloat out so lid doesn’t latch always. It isn’t a deal breaker just use file, dremel, or loosen the straps that you use to tighten the tank down some and latch then tighten tank down.
People have said that the last 5 gallons in bottom of the tank cannot be siphoned up by the pump. Not a problem since you can safely fill it with up to 50-55 gallons. Diesel is sacred nowadays.
I add Howes diesel treatment every fill up just to help save the injector pump. Low sulfur diesel doesn’t lube diesel injector pump. May help the environment, but wrecks your injectors.
Addition: buy some pallet forks because you can either cradle with heavy duty straps or pallet forks and move this tank easier. Diesel is 6.8lbs per gallon.
No baffles since plastic tank. No need to carry in bed of truck when not needing fuel from it.
Pump at lower speed so the pump will not have a chance to wear out prematurely. The pump can move fuel pretty great.

Bought this so that i could put it in the back of my truck and get gas for my boat on the water. Comes fully assembled and functioning out of the box. Once filled, very easy to hook up to the batteries and fill the boat. Great product. For those that are confused like i was, the diesel one is cheaper but not rated for gas. The gas rated one is more expensive but the fittings are designed to work with the explosiveness of gasoline. That is the extra money. Would highly recommend this product if you are considering.
