I bought this gas cap based on the description and the photo. I wanted to replace my polished chrome gas cap with a new one. Aluminum would have be perfect, wouldn’t rust and could be polished. I touched a magnet to the cap and it immediately stuck to it. So this wont work for me and will be return. The listing really should be revised. That being said, this is a high quality twist on gas cap. It has a matte finish with a little bit of shine. I bought this to fit a 1975 Jeep cj5 and it does fit. It would also fit early GMC and Ford trucks as well that use a vented twist cap.
