It fits a 2022 Ram diesel 2500! When it rained, my diesel fill hole would fill with water ! I’m hoping this solves that problem. It hasn’t rained here yet, but I’m pretty confident it will solve the issue. It does fit tightly if put on the right way. Put the diesel fuel writing on the cap a bit to your left and turn it clockwise!!! Awesome!!

‘21 Ram Bighorn 3500. Fits great, works great. I’ve been wedging a ball of heavy duty shop paper towels in there for the better part of a year to keep dust and debris out of my fuel tank. This cap has been a total upgrade. I was leery about this and have been stalking this product on Amazon since the middle of last summer (‘21). Between being a cheapskate, the concern of falling prey to what could be a really cheap product with fancy pictures, and a hatred for having to return shit, I finally decided to go for it; namely due to my Jerry rigged paper ball being all ripped up and getting harder to wedge in there. To test my new lid, I cleaned the inside of my fuel tank door. 5,000 miles later, like normal, it was filthy in there yet still shiny and clean under my new diesel cap. I can see the dirt ring around the outside of the rubber o’ring where it makes the seal on the green plastic. Very pleased. The cap is like solid aluminum and takes about 1/8th of a twist to secure. Plus it has that built in magnet that is awesome! Total success story.

This is a great addition to my 2022 Ram Cummins. The fit is tight and secure. The magnet is strong and holds well when I stick it to the door hinge. The cap is solid and heavy one piece and the magnet isn’t exposed. The truck doesn’t come from the factory with one, so it’s obvious that it’s NOT necessary but I like the added protection and peace of mind, and it looks great. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to make the cap/knob knurled and not smooth so it was easier to grip. My hands are big and I have to grab it just right to lock/unlock it. Overall happy with this purchase.

I know fill caps are not necessary on my truck. If they were, RAM would have included them. However, the fact that the DEF filler tube is so darn close to the diesel fill tube, the peace of mind having the diesel inlet covered is worth the small price of these caps. Only a small amount of DEF fluid getting into the fuel can cause serious damage to the engine and fuel components. These caps look good, fit perfectly and serves a purpose. The magnetic back is a bonus to stick the cap to the fuel door hinge while filling up and not forgetting the cap.

It’s not inexpensive, but seems to be a quality made part, seals well and securly. It sticks firmly to the fuel door when fueling. Nothing not to like!
