I replaced the hold down bolts, and terminals. The OEM strap was corroded from years of old battery residue eating it away. This was an affordable replacement, looks cool in my old truck too.

Fits my 2015 Toyota 86 perfectly, however arrived with a couple of small imperfections…. But overall I’m very happy with the product and you can’t argue with the price. Reccomended

This fit my size 24 battery on my 2017 Tacoma okay. The inside edge could have been an 1/8 inch wider so that it’ll fit the size 24 battery. But I snugged down the J bolt tights enough to hold it down. Speaking of the J bolt, none was included. So you’ll have to buy a 10 inch J bolt set, where the 10 inch would be for the front of the battery, and you’ll have to cut down the back side J bolt, as that one is shorter. The bracket fits across the battery, between the vent caps….but barely fits between them. I haven’t tried, but it might be hard to remove the caps to check the water level.

I bought a project car some time back and one of the previous owners had relocated the battery to the trunk. One of my first priorities was to replace the handmade MDF box with a good, safe, battery tray. The Jegs unit I bought had a really flimsy tie down bracket that was bending under the stress of a couple of hand-tight wingnuts. I didn’t really like the idea of taking the car out like this and wouldn’t even try to pass tech like that; I’d get laughed out of there. This tie down bracket solved the problem wonderfully. No bending or buckling. The battery is snugly in place, and it looks handsome to boot. I would definitely buy one of these again if I needed to replace a rusted or aging tie down bracket in another of my cars.

So far seems like very good quality. It really pops in your engine bay. No issues at all. I ordered this one because the way it thins out in the middle. Check your battery before ordering some of the others, if the top plastic caps stick up and aren’t flush, you will need this one. I would recommend this to anyone.

Okay, I used this on a Jeep CJ7, so it ‘does and doesn’t’ apply to everyone. It’s an excellent tie down and looks great, but unless it’s perfectly positioned, it will interfere when trying to open the water covers. It could be a tad more narrow in its narrow part. For a CJ, it’s also too wide (it butted up against the firewall). I had to grind a little more than an eighth of an inch off of the firewall end. I painted it flat black afterward, but this thing’s powdercoated so it didn’t match perfectly. Still a good, quality tie down but CJ owners beware.
Edit: These folks are serious about the quality of their product. I originally rated this at three stars because of slight modifications necessary to install it in a Jeep CJ. After they communicated with me, I realized that this wasn’t entirely fair regarding the quality of the product. As far as quality, it is definitely five stars. However, if you have a battery with removable water caps, beware that you may have to loosen the tiedown nuts slightly in order to service your battery. (No, they did not offer anything in return for this edit or you wouldn’t be reading it. I take the reviews seriously.)

If you have a regular basic battery that has caps across the top, and already have the vertical attachment rods, then this may be a fit for you. My install went smooth though it was close. This is a nice heavy (for aluminum) and thick bracket. That extra bit of thickness over what I had before (plastic coated sheet metal) was the close call as someone (probably me) trimmed the length of the vertical rods. Way more strength and good looks than needed and will probably outlast the car.

This battery clamp/bracket is aluminum and made right. It’s a beast. Absolutely no flex at all. I needed one right before my Labor Day trip. I’d been through several cheap auto parts store clamps, and all they did was bend and eventually break. Useless.
This bracket isn’t going anywhere. I use a heavy duty OReilly AGM battery and the bracket fits with room to spare. I’ve got cheap spin nuts holding it down right now, but when I get a chance I’ll install regular stainless washers and nuts.
If you are still running regular lead/acid type batteries, you might find that the bracket is a tight fit in between the fill cap covers, but width wise, most batteries are pretty similar.
Best 20 bucks spent.
