Buyer beware on this one. While the construction is decent, and the boot/gasket looks nice, this simply doesn’t fit early Plymouth and Dodges (mine is a 63 Valiant). A little tip: make sure that your dipstick tube looks EXACTLY like this one before you buy. That INCLUDES the tab that secures the dipstick tube to your transmission. My tab/stabilizer attachment was majorly different (longer and larger), so this really didn’t fit.
Worked for a bit, then parked on a downhill slope. The result: transmission fluid everywhere.

I had a leaky 727 transmission tube on my 64 Polara. I had already removed the stock tube once and tried a new O-ring, with zero luck. My car is not original, so having an aftermarket tube and dipstick did not matter to me, so thought I would give this a try. It’s a great design as the rubber boot sits down in the transmission and then the tube fits into that. Seems to have fixed the issue. The only negative was the tab that mounts to the transmission bolt was not bent correctly and I had to tweak it to fit, but other than that, it’s perfect.

Seemed well made but wont fit jeep wrangler with 32rh/904/tf6 and 4.0l. Body and trans are too close where this should be…or its behind a/c component and u cant get it.

no more leaks so far it’s great. easy enough to manipulate tube exactly where I want it

This fit perfect on my Mopar 383 BB. Bolt hole lined up on the bell housing, and tube just misses the headers. To install it’s easier to rub a little transmission oil on the rubber part by itself and install it first into the dip stick hole, flowed by the dip stick tube. Any other way I did it the rubber part just pushes up the tube.

Packaged well, fit nicely, little difficult to insert into transmission which was perfect for preventing leakage.

PERFECTLY designed/built.
Fits my 1987 318 amazingly.
Has a locking top which looks nice. The whole thing feels SUPER well made and sturdy.
It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t the stock length, it’s like almost a foot shorter than the OEM tube and dipstick. It’s fine because it comes with the dipstick to match, but don’t expect to put a different dipstick in, and expect to reach in a bit more than you’re used to when checking levels.
