I am not impressed with this product. When hot outside it gets loose and comes off.

I gave the All-Fit Car Door Edge Protector Guard a try. Installation was surprisingly easy, thanks to the U-shaped design and strong adhesive. It fits snugly around my car doors and looks pretty good.

The glue never hardened and kept oozing out the sides. In hot weather, the door edge guards kept coming off and leaving a sticky mess on the car door. The seller knew about these issues when I contacted them. Why didn’t he warn anyone and keep selling this product?

I did all the proper preparation, made sure the edge of my doors were very clean, and applied the product according to instructions. I put it on my doors on May 12th, and buy June 1st they were falling off.
Terrible quality. Didn’t perform at all as id hoped.
Now I’m going to be stuck trying to get the adhesive off my door which is going to be a huge pain.
Don’t purchase this.

Do not use on black cars. When parked in the sun, the glue softens and the door protector falls off.

I easily installed this along the bottom edge of my SUV hatch that developed some paint chips after accidentally hitting the trunk release on the key fob while parked in my garage with the door closed! Thankfully the damage was minimal but did chip the paint along a 6″ section down to he primer! I hope this trim stays on, seems to fit securely.

I do like the look of this product, and I followed all the cleaning directions and preparation, and as you could see in the photo during the day when the sun is out, the adhesive begins to separate and it starts to curl I believe some of this may have to do With the packaging as it is delivered in coil form. It’s only peeling at the top of the doors. To return this item and get a new one I would have to peel all of it off and send it back, which I do not want to do. I did not see an option to get a new package without returning so now I’m contemplating on gluing it myself But I’m not sure if that’s the best option
