Does not fit the John deere z425. Bought a couple of weeks ago and installed it. Mower wouldn’t start without starting fluid. I didn’t think much about it till I went to mow next time. Would not start with choke at all. Shot a little starting fluid and it fires right off. Got to checking and the choke had no function whatsoever. Pulled the carb back off and the choke linkage is backwards. Choke was opening instead of closing. Ordered another brand and it works perfectly.

It was a perfect match to the a riginal carburetor that was on there except for the choke which I guess could be my fault for not finding the correct part number but it works properly and it’s like a bran new mower thank you

Replaced on John Deere L120..Worked like it should and no adjustments were needed.Has of the spark plugs the screw on caps were missing and fuel filter is to small .I only needed the Carburetor.You can’t beat the price for the Carburetor itself.Received in a timely matter

Purchased as a replacement carb for my D130 John Deere tractor. I was having fuel problems with my original JD carb and when I removed the float bowl from the original, both jets were laying in the bottom of the float bowl. In spite of getting the jets back into their holders, the tractor was still having issues. The new carb fixed the problem and it actually runs better now than when it was new. It always had a bit of a rough idle and now that is gone. Very pleased.

This carb fit perfect on my John Deere L118 riding mower. It solved the problem of hard starts when cold.Runs better than the oem unit. Time will tell how it lasts.
