Used it for my xr650L i really needed it for the threaded black plastic housing, but the plunger was incorrect for the stock carb. My old one was fine so i just reused that

Just like all the reviews say, the brass plunger does not fit the carburetor body. This kit is only good to replace the threaded plastic piece and the spring.

I needed a new choke plunger, the needle is to fat and doesn’t allow the plunger to fully seat. Do not buy

Worked well on my 05 650L. I reused my oem needle. I just needed the plastic nut piece and the spring. My oem plastic nut thing was stripped on removal. The retaining clip style of the OEM plastic nut is not needed, this aftermarket one worked as intended. 4 stars because I didn’t use the needle and I don’t know if it is any good.

Needle on the plunger is too large and does not fit, but you’re probably buying this to replace the nut. Other components work well enough, and the seal on the plunger will transfer over if you are careful.
Poor fitment. They will likely fall off, they do not fit the door correctly so the tape can stick. Worst one I ever have purchased –
Product is not compatible with factory Honda xr650L carb. Spring was to small. Plunger was too short and did not go far enough to close off fuel. Needle on plunger was not pointed.

I bought this for the threaded plastic bit that goes into the carburetor as mine had stripped.
This replacement does not work with the original cable and I had to modify the plastic piece to accept the retaining clip that is on the original.
I made it work by cutting a slit in the top for the clip but it is only held in by the rubber boot and is not nearly as strong as the original.
