Inexpensive high capacity “toggle switch” for large cable size. Depending on your application this is as simple and inexpensive as it gets. A rotary switch may be prettier, but is generally more expensive and possibly harder to install. Again, it does what I needed it to do: interrupt the ground cable from the battery entirely from any constantly active circuits.

The tractor battery does not drain down when it sits for long periods.

Worked great…..for about 6 months. Then, the plastic connecting piece broke, making it useless. I installed two on my golf cart batteries, to disconnect them from the motor and solenoid when charging with an independent charger. They worked great, but I used them every day, and the plastic connecting piece just isn’t strong enough to withstand constant use.
