This is a great product. Easy to install (minus the drilling) and works fine. The gaskets it comes with are completely useless but if you know what you’re doing you can make it work.

I always have trouble with getting stuff welded near me. Every one does a botch job and leave it looking like a mess when it comes to welding so I wanted to do it myself.
This kit is straight forward and simple. You will need a step drill bit that goes up to 7/8″ diameter to get the job done right.
The hole has an inner step lip where it would get inserted to the hole you drilled and using the gasket the provide it seals it up completely.
Took about 30 min total and couldn’t be happier with a clean install.

Worked perfectly on my EFI conversion. I tried welding and that did not go so well, I used a pair of these and it worked perfectly! A few tips. Use a step bit to get the hole size correct. Also use the insulator tape thing provided to seal it off properly. I used a length of blue painters tape to hold it place when I put the mount on initially. The peel off adhesive worked okay, but it lost its stick after a few times of adjusting it. Once I tightened the bolts down, I never looked back. Inserted my sensors, and finished out my conversion. That was about 2 years ago, and they have been flawless since. A little bit more than a bung, but if you cannot weld then I recommend spending the money and going this route.

I wasn’t looking forward to dropping the mid-pipe to weld in a bung for my wideband… Stumbled upon this product, works great. I discarded the sealer tape/spacer that comes with it. I ended up coating the area around the bung with exhaust sealant before cranking it down to make a proper seal. I found the insert to be a pain to line up as working under the car doesn’t yield a lot of space. Drilled the hole, applied exhaust sealant on the inside lip of the bung, cranked it down, fit the o2 sensor. Took 20 minutes vs an afternoon and a welding mask.

I originally had bought the Glowshift mount, which was kind of bent just enough to cause leaking and subsequently inaccurate AFR readings. The Gasket doesn’t stick very well at all, could be do to a dirty pipe, I don’t know. It was also somewhat brittle but I managed to get it on and it was fine once the mount was tightened. Need to make sure the hole you drill will fit the flange on the mount or it will not clamp down properly.

I purchased this no-weld O2 sensor mount to install on a classic car that I was purchasing. I was going to be driving from an altitude of approx 4500 ft to sea level and wanted to monitor my A/F ratio during the drive. I was able to install this using a cordless drill with a step bit and some hand wrenches. This part was perfect because I did not have to schedule an appointment with and exhaust shop to weld a bung onto the exhaust pipe. The only complaint is the gasket material is too flimsy and was a pain to install in one piece. I have driven 2000 miles since the install and it is not leaking any exhaust.

I was skeptical of this at first, but a friend came over and we used one on his exhaust to mount a wideband and after that I was sold. Instead of having to pull my test pipe off and take it to get a bung welded, I was able to buy a step bit and drill the hole, install this, then install the O2 sensor for the wideband. I’ve had mine on for about 3 months now, no leaks, or any problems at all. if you don’t want to or can’t have a welded bung installed this is the way to go.

No exhaust leaks around the band. Just as good as welding in a bung. no special tools required. Used for 1 year.
It’s been a few years now and it’s still working fine. No leaks. Good product!
I’m out….
