Seems to be the exact same design and construction as old mount. Considering the original mount lasted 180,000 miles the engine probably won’t see the end of this mount. Fit was perfect, but I noticed reviews for other Cobalt mounts that said otherwise so I thought I’d address an issue I had. Keep in mind the old mount had cracked and leaked fluid. I didn’t realize until after replacement but the engine was about an inch lower than it should have been. So when I removed the old mount and inserted the new one there was about 1/2 inch of difference between the holes on the mount and the holes on the engine. This is because the rubber inside the old mount had been deformed for so long that it adjusted to the lower height of the engine. I could have used my jack that was supporting the engine to raise it slightly which would have closed the gap, but instead I tightened the two bolts holding the mount to the car frame and used a screwdriver to pry the three bolt holes into better position with the engine. The rubber of the mount is stiff but it was easy enough. Then upon tightening the three bolts the engine raised back up to it’s proper position. The whole ordeal took about 45 minutes. You could do it in 10 if you’d done it once before.

Arrived on Labor Day which is very unusual but I am very happy with that. After a little rigging I fixed it. the one I had was for a automatic this one was for a manual transmission.. a drill bit and a little bit of cussing let me rephrase that a lot of cussing I finally got it to fit works great thanks guys.

Beware saturn has a big style motor mount than this one. Doesn’t even show when you select your car. This is a dealer part only. No one else has it. Double check the measurements before ordering this one. There’s a chanse this one is too small.

Not exactly the same as factory, but good enough. Most importantly, holes lined up well. Easy install.

Fit as expected on my husband’s 2010 Colbolt amd much cheaper than the shop. He had no trouble installing it himself.

Perfect fit for my 2010 HHR 2.2L panel. Easy installation. Engine not moving anymore, not rolling back and forth in park either.
