Clayton Crandall –
It worked somewhat after much manipulation. It might be OK if it was $15.00 but for 60 something dollars I would NEVER buy again.
Ronnie –
Nothing in the kit worked. The screw to hold the belt alignment bracket to engine was wrong size. The clip to guide the belt on to the pulled kept popping off. Total waste of my money. I would not recommend this product.

Excacly what I needed

This will not fit the older style 1.6L Fiesta main pulley, as the groove on the curled end is too small to fit the lip of the pulley. It is, in a word, useless for that. Later years use a different pulley, which this will not ever fit. For installing a belt without the tool, screwdrivers, pliers, or zip ties can work, though it’s more difficult.
The Lisle branded tool works perfectly for later year pulley, which also fit earlier years, but does not work on earlier pulleys. It sort of works on the earlier version, but will not fully install the belt (a couple ribs would still be off).
This tool is literally a bent piece of thin, stamped steel, an M10 stud bolt with an M10 nut, and some bent wire as a belt guide when installing. The guide *could* be useful, but is also bent so far inward that it makes the belt slip off the inside of the water pump pulley.
Highly disappointing. This is going to be returned, as $30+ is a complete waste of resources for this “tool.” Even if it worked – that is a very steep price for the low quality of materials.

I used this to put a new serpentine belt on my 2015 Ford Fiesta. I tried to avoid buying one, but it was extremely difficult to do, so I ended up snagging this and getting the belt on in minutes. Save yourself time and from rolling around on the floor and get this tool!
Melissa Roberts –
It works, but it’s a pain without instructions. Absolutely overpriced.

This did not work in my case on Ford Fiesta 2014 SE 1.6l non turbo. Bolt and metal arm did not extend far enough to hold belt to underside of rubber pulley (pulley running on top of belt. Rubber pulley”) causing it to slip inside pulley. I was able to install the belt using vice grips. Wrapped the belt around the top pulleys and vice gripped it to the crank pulley (ribs aligned on pulley). Unfortunately you are required to simply use your hand to physically hold the belt from coming loose on the rubber pulley. I was able to do this after about 3 attempts. The metal tool included in this bent and became unusable after attempting to try a second time with the metal arm not aligning belt properly.

It is kind of a pain to use and the metal clip kept slipping off the pulley wheel. The only part that really worked was the thin metal bar that you bolt on and then I used a small vice grip to hold the belt on the pulley.
