I would like to start by saying that this was purchased for a 2000 Ford Explorer Sport.
This unit is at first glance a quality cable. On closer inspection you will find the cable is decently thinner than the OE. It is coated which is a nice touch, but it is still thinner than the factory cable with that added coating. The grommet for the aftermarket unit is also substantially smaller than the original one, so much so the grommet can be pushed through the hole in the floorboard.
The process to replace the cable is a little more complex then it looks, especially for such a simple part. In my opinion the time would be better spent installing the OE cable for a little more money.
