I have had no issues after purchasing this alternator, it is working like it should. The product came NEW–not rebuilt and ready to install.
Only missing were bolts to actually mount the alternator. I know … you are saying use the old bolts that were attaching the alternator you replaced. I had an after market alternator on the vehicle and it attached differently. One trip to ACE took care of the missing bolt issue.

After 22 years my alternator died. This was a replacement for it, so far so good!

Looks nice. But only the two front bolts holes are aligned. Not the Back bolt. So if you install the large front bolt and small Back Bracket bolt it makes the other Front bolt off by a quarter inch.
On the other hand if you install the Large front bolt and the Front Small bolt it makes the alternator pulley slightly skewed; meaning it won’t be perfectly aligned with belt. It might rub on the belt grooves causing premature failure. So you’ll be installing only Two of the Three bolts. That might cause tortional twisting under high load.
