New flats for old ones –
I ordered both left and right to replace the ones on my 2001 Cherokee. The left had a plastic plug in the hole for the banjo bolt, with 2 crush washers! The ones with the Made in China Delco lines were better, so I used them, not to bad. Open the right one and there is some wire spring, a banjo bolt rolling around and no crush washers. No big deal, but what was supposed to be in the box/caliper? I started to install and the lower rubber bellows had not been pulled all the way thru. It was a hassle convincing the rubber to go further, without it taking the inner rod with it. It finally worked out. Then went to bleed this one, with the proper flare wrench and it rounded off. It was not the same size as the left either. I convinced a 9mm socket to fit and got it out. I then reused the one from the old caliper. The right took twice as long as the left. None of the mounting bolts would fit, they are just small enough to slip when tightened. They are the right thread, but milled under tolerance. I do hope the inner workings will prove to safe and reliable. These calipers are re-manufactured in Mexico.
