I noticed about halfway into my install (after I’d connected the brake line) that the caliper had “PBR” cast into it. Obviously this isn’t an AC Delco part. It still seemed to be a quality part, so I went with it. However when I went to bleed the brakes, the bleeder valve would not move. When I say wouldn’t move, I mean I had to put use a impact wrench on it for a good 5 seconds before it budged. If I hadn’t been almost done, it would’ve gone back in the box and returned.
DO NOT BUY THIS PART!!!

While installing this caliper. I noticed that one piston would not retract back as far as the other. The slide pins and boots would also not retract back into the caliper as far as my original caliper did thus displacing the adapter off about 1/4″. When installing new brake pads, the caliper would not close properly because of this alignment issue. Had to use the new adapter and my old caliper to get this to work. The bolts and slide pins were also very gritty and did not slide well even after re-greased. I have installed over 30 calipers over the years and this is the only caliper that would not work.

I bought 1 right 1 left from diferente vendors and both are completely different there is no standards for whom remanufactured this calipers if this comes from ac delco they should be ashamed of the quality of the parts they are using.
