I purchased a Groupon voucher for a $10 oil change. I figured the oil itself cost more than $10.
I went to the local car care center (Nuno’s Auto Care)with my voucher in hand. I was told, for your car there will be an extra $12 charge for the special oil filter. I told them “no way”, and walked out.
I went home and logged onto Amazon and found this genuine GM AC Delco filter and a spare plastic cap for less than $10. If the quality is good enough for a brand new car, it’s good enough for my 3 year old Malibu. It fits perfectly. Yes, I also had to buy 5 quarts of oil, but I prefer to hand my money to a trustworthy retailer than pay a premium price for a non premium filter at a service center with questionable business practices.

I liked the packaging and for the money its worth as this includes the black cap as well which is better then any other sellers there who only sell the filter for twice the price.
