I originally purchased a cheap knock off MAP sensor that basically looked the same but really had to force down to install on bracket. Once installed my engine ran worse than the original that was giving me the engine code! I returned it promptly to Amazon and bought the recommended pricier AC Delco part (still about $30.00 cheaper than Autozone). The AC Delco MAP sensor fit just like the GM original. Took me a whole 5 minutes to install and the engine purred like a kitten afterward and now my engine light is out and I can pass my upcoming emissions test. There are a number of cheaper knock offs out there but save yourself some head aches and time and stick with a quality brand like AC Delco.

While rebuilding top end of 2006 Chevy Uplander 3.5 V6, map sensor broke while removing; replace with this OEM part, works good; engine runs good, PID data shows normal, no fault codes; pay a few extra $$ but avoid the 50/50 chance of a bad chinese part.

Installed this part to replace OE as part of my effort to improve accuracy for my gas mileage. Unfortunately this was dead part or incompatible, after Installed my engine would not turn over. Had to reinstall my OE MAP sensor just to drive again. Update>Other site says this part number fits but the second replacement part still didn’t work from Amazon.

This was an authentic acdelco part – make sure youre buying direct shipped and sold from amazon! If for whatever reason you got a fake and it was from amazon – no doubt you’d be able to get a replacement or your money back! What I recieved was an authentic acdelco map sensor and it successfully got rid of my engine light – my autozone duralast replacement did not get rid of the light! The acdelco part seems to be of higher quality as well! It came in an ACDelco box and it is also labeled on the part! Thanks!
