Excellent part z28 runs great better fuel efficiency and not running rich anymore you definitely know if this part fails in ur car because it’ll get up to normal operation range and shut off and won’t start back until it cools down some

I have not had good service from this product. I actually tried two of these ignition control modules in AC Delco in my 1995 Camaro Z28. On both occasions the module went bad after 30-45 minutes of use. In both cases I re-installed my old aftermarket ignition control module and the car has run fine. I purchased the AC Delco brand because I was trying to fix an ignition problem I had and hoped the factory brand replacement would be a better product but that didn’t prove to be the case for me. Eventually I discovered the problem to be a different item. Consequently I am continuing to use the aftermarket ICM which is working fine.

I recently rebuilt my entire Cold Air Intake on my 1994 Z 28 LT1 Camaro, and bought a cheap made in China ICM from *Bay (28 dollars). When this component fails, you’ll know it as your car will shut down, and won’t restart untill it cools off. My “new” cheap ICM failed after a few hundred miles, and I was nearly stranded. I priced this “AC Delco” made part (80 dollars) and had installed it; fast forward to a year and a half later and I’m looking at the price of Ignition Control modules – AGAIN ! I now know why serious Camaro owners modify the Ignition System, sad.
! Read the “Note” at product description; as it claims “AC Delco partners with other manufacturers” to provide you w/a not so AC Delco part, rip off here. Only purchase from licensed Authorized AC Delco business, especially online

PREVIOUS OWNER WAS BOASTING HOW HE REPLACE A LOT OF PARTS ON THE CAR, BUT DIDNT MENTION HE PUT A BUNCH OF CHINESE GARBAGE! HIS ICM LASTED 2 MONTHS! I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 1995 Z28 AND NOW RUNS LIKE A CHARM. NOTHING LIKE AC DELCO PARTS FOR YOUR AMERICAN RIDE! RUNNING STRONG NOW FOR 8 MONTHS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
