Justin Draggett –
I have a 2006 Acura RSX-S. The 6 speed trans in these is kind of known for having 2/3 grind and popout, which i suffered from (170k miles). I have changed the fluid before with acura fluid and it didn’t help. I used this and no more grinds or pop outs and shifts feel much smoother. 10/10 recommend for anyone with a honda/acura stick shift

Thicker than the Honda MTL and easier on the syncros. Once warmed up, you lose nothing in the shift feel/speed.

Made it hard to shift and engage gears. Don’t know what the Honda communities rage about this stuff was about, didn’t help me get better engagement between gears actually made it worst. All well. Time to go get genuine fluid
LUIS ANGEL –
Lo compré para ponérselo a la transmisión manual de una S10 y me corrigió el detalle de los cambios de velocidad duros.

Used this in a mix for a WRX trans that whines during deceleration. Changed using only recommended gear oil first, and it didn’t help. The whine definitely quieted down after adding this Synchromesh mixed with Motul 75w90 and putting 50 or so miles on the car. Darn near unnoticeable to my ear. Obviously, this is a temporary solution before inevitable explosion of a notoriously fragile 5MT transmission, but color me impressed either way. Used in the correct application, I’m sure this stuff is great.

Smoothest shifting with good synchro grab.

Purchased this stuff because my Acura mt started making the infamous 3rd gear grind. Read the Honda forums and this was highly recommend for alleviating that lovely grind. Not sure what magic ingredients GM used, unicorn spit or blood or whatever but it works.

This fluid is recommended for a TKO 500 transmission. Trans shifts nicely. Seemed to be a fair price from Amazon. With Prime I could get fluid by the weekend.

After researching similar, compatible fluids from boutique brands like Royal Purple and Redline, I decided to refill my Getrag/Muncie 282 with OE fluid. The car only had 100,000 miles on it, but having no service history and no idea what was in the gearbox or how long it had been there this seemed like the safe bet. With a few miles on the car post fluid change, I really can’t imagine what I might be missing. Shifting is dramatically improved both cold and hot, and the general muddiness which I’d previously blamed on gummy cables is gone. It’s not Honda-good, but it’s real good. Very happy with the performance of this fluid and would use it again.
