I wanted to turn on a 120V light automatically when my 12V outdoor lighting turns on automatically at dusk. I did a quick experiment. It works. 12 V AC input ==> turns on switch that can handle a much greater voltage.

I use it with a geeni device. I was burning them up they got to hot. I use the geeni as the control circuit now and power through this relay. I have used it a while. It stays cool and works perfectly. I suspect I be buying more in the future.
