This is a well made product, but didn’t work for me

I bought this for my 1961 Chevy Apache 10, due to the way everything is set up the exhaust is extremely close to the starter. I was skeptical at first but extremely pleased with how well this actually works to stop the starter from absorbing the heat. It was easy to install and is very well made. I will be ordering one for my 86 F350 as well as it has trouble with the starter as well. Well worth the money

Went on easy fit perfect on my 2006 mustang gt a little long but I stuffed it in between starter and motor

Fit nice and helps the heat car would make starter get to hot and would not restart and now car restart like it should..it’s a modified car and has a lot of heat of headers

Very nice piece for the price. It says you can cut the excess off, but I just used it as an added layer of protection since I have next to no clearance between the starter and headers.
