My old Sierra has seen some rough times and the tailgate in particular took a beating. I needed new support cables as mine were frayed and one was completely gone.
I went with A-Premium since I’ve used their products before and have been satisfied. This kit is for a set of two so you can replace both cables. It’s a bargain of a deal when you compare to dealership prices for the same parts.
The cables arrived quickly and I compared them to the one remaining cable I had. These A-Premium cables are a perfect match in length and the holes for the fasteners are right.
Installation was smooth and they install easily just like the factory equipment. They are strong and have held up to several hundred pounds on the tailgate.
If you need new tailgate support cables for your Sierra or Silverado, I recommend these.

Was easy to install these. They work great and there the same size as my trucks off ones. So they tailgate is level still. Great price. They function just as intended
