Risks of buying cheap products. Bought these because of good reviews. After 7 days, we lost power but managed to get home safely. Upon inspection, the ignition coils melted and have formed bubbles on the shell as seen the attached pictures. We will return these and hope we get replacements or a refund.

Great price for 6 ignition coils. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money on the Pathfinder because i do plan to sell it soon, but while my daughter drives it, i wanted to hopefully remedy the pesky ignition code and issue with the occasional stumble when it was cold.
Unfortunately, there is one coil at her front on the passenger side that is a different shape and has the plug sticking straight up to avoid hitting the valve cover. On the driver’s side, which is a bit of a pain to move everything out of the way to get to them, the replacement simply would not fit under the throttle body. The body on these replacements is slightly larger than the originals, and i could slip the coil in the slot beneath the throttle body. I’m not sure if its the idle air control motor, but there is something beneath the throttle body that takes up space. Even after removing that, the coil would not fit under the mounting boss for that.
So only 4 out of the 6 coils actually fit. I think this is somewhat Amazon’s fault for not getting the “fit” part correct, but considering these replacements are slightly larger in size, it’s a bit of the manufacturer’s fault as well.
