Se descomponen rápido y desde el principio se quedaban cortos , mejor compren en las agencias los originales duran 10 años

The length is correct for these but the ends are too small to get the wire clips installed.

Exactly what I needed. Fits exact on my 2014 highlander

The struts were missing the wire securing clips. Not sure if this package was previously opened.

Third time was the charm. I bought and returned 2 other shock/struts for the rear glass of my 2016 Highlander which did not fit. One was too long and the other would not fit on the mounting stud. These fit perfectly – finally. A little more expensive, but worth it for a good fit.

I purchased this to replace my old lifts because they were pretty worn and didn’t hold the glass up as confidently as before. After taking one of the original lifts off, the glass wouldn’t stay up at all because of how worn they were. When I put one of these new ones on, the glass would stay up with just one. I am confident these can hold the glass up without issues.
Note: These were a proper fit for my 2004 Toyota Highlander LE Plus. The only thing I noticed was the fact that you can hear some scraping within the lifts once close to full extension. Don’t know how long these will last, but for now they seem to be worth the money!

Installation was easy – just watch a YouTube video. The old ones were held in place with clips (top and bottom of strut). The new ones are held in place with a wire inserted into the ball joint socket and clipped on the outside of the ball joint. The wire seems to hold but I think I would have preferred the clip (this is the first replacement in 10 years!). Time will tell!
One trick: when you insert the wire into the small hole in the outside of the ball joint, it tends to not go in all the way. Just wiggle the ball joint and the wire will slip in easily.
There are NO instructions with the struts. Watching a YouTube video did provide sufficient installation instructions.
Be sure and brace the window! Once 1 of the old struts is off you could get hit in the head very easily. One new strut alone will keep the window up while working in the second.
I didn’t price having done this at the dealer but I suspect it was at least slightly more than the $25 I paid for the pair of struts!!
PS I am not mechanically inclined so if I can do it, anyone can.

Possibly someone changed the parts in the box, but the part number on the box was definitely changed. Both times in a black marker. I returned and bought others.

Struts went out in less then 2 weeks after install worked good for the first 2 days. But bad after that.
