Purchased to replace a worn and noisy pump (over 300k miles). After completing the install, it immediately began whining and, after spending many many hours bleeding air and replacing hoses, the whining never stopped and the air bubbles kept coming. My only guess is that the pump seal was bad from the start.

A perfect replacement part for the factory Toyota pump. I got nearly 400k km and twenty years old of the original equipment, hope this one can stand up to that sand compared favourably in time.
Price was a quarter the dealer list price. While not OEM quality it sure seems a good match to it. I’ve taken it to some rather extreme four wheeling since (for a full bodied SUV I still need to really drive it was pushing some limits) after a total part steering system replacement. This pump is doing great so far.

When it arrived it was inside a box but the plastic package for the product was opened. i was alarmed at first and hoped that the product was not tampered in anyway. 3/5 for the packing, 4/5 for the product.
