I still have the check engine light on I’m gonna do further diagnostics not sure whether it’s the O2 sensor at fault or the computer or wiring in the car

After putting this o2 sensor into the car it took some time to computer to learn it before it started maintain normal idle (500-700 rpm). It was dropping so low RPMs that car was stalling.
But engine light stayed on. I spoke to couple of professional mechanics – they laughed on buying o2 sensors for $20.
I got correct one for $156. Engine light is off now.

Only lasted a year before P0156 came on in 2004 Lexus GS300.

After about 200km it will randomly throw a CEL. Clear it and you think you are OK. Then it shows up again. Does not effect performance. Just irritating.
