This part is an exact fit for my 2002 BMW X5 4.4i. After, I replaced the old one on my Beamer with the subject, my Beamer runs great! It regulates the amount of air the big ole V8 in my Beamer needs for proper functionality! I highly recommend this part to anyone who may need a replacement!! The parts quality was not good at all. When installed and tested, the part Failed to meet tolerance of operating conditions…..badly.
Readings were showing up, even when the engine was off. They should have been 0.

Had two codes on my E53 4.4 2002 that while not yet triggering the CEL needed to be taken care off — 1C and 1D additive mixture adaptation limit reached banks 1 & 2. The trusty Bosch was on its way out @ 23 years and 170K miles of service. So I got this A-premium MAF “used like new” for $20 to see if it would clear the codes. It did. Thermostat next and then the DMTL pump.
