It’s not easy to install unless you know what you’re doing, but for the price, it’s definitely better than getting it repaired at the dealership. It sounds a little different from the oem unit, but works well none the less.

Well like the title says it fixed the problem but has only been in the door for a few days so we will see.

Didn’t last much more than a year. Luckily they are fairly easy to replace

My Sienna’s sliding door failed. After watching some Youtube videos I used this product to fix the auto sliding door problem. Worked Great and fits perfectly.

This is installed in a 2007 Toyota Sienna. The actuator installed easily into the door panel (but I watched an installation video on YouTube before working on it). It works well in activating the sliding door lock and release.

Sliding door would not open or close by button, only by door handles. Installed this new actuator in about 30 minutes and works like new again!

This door actuator arrived on time and was the correct part for my van.
You tube helped me with the install. I have to say, it’s almost impossible for normal folks to remove the screws holding this part in place (philips head screws, not enough room to reach them with any force). I opted to break the part off of its screws with a pry bar (didn’t damage anything else in the process). I used a bolt cutter to remove the remaining nut/bolt. I bought new screws to fit the new part and installed easily. Now I have my electric door back! I think it took me less than an hour per door.

Perfect match for my car newly installed and working good so far.

Works great. Here’s a step by step to install.
1) disconnect negative battery cable
2) remove inside door panel. There’s one screw at the bottom edge of the inside of the door. Two screws on the front edge of the door. The rest is held by snaps.
3) The screws that hold this actuator in are on the back of the black steel panel under the trim you just removed. remove the bolts that hold the steel panel into the door panel. . There are two bolts in the back half of the steel panel that hold parts from the inside and it’s best not to remove these two bolts
4) you can try to remove the screws that hold the actuator in place, but you will likely strip them. As you turn the screw, it remains very tight and doesn’t loosen up as you go. The easiest way to remove these screws is to cut the plastic where the screws attach using side wire cutters. Then you can cut and remove the screws themselves with side wire cutters.
5) you will need new screws to mount the new actuator. What you need are M4-0.7x16mm screws. You will need washers as well. The actuator has slots for three screws, but you only use two (just like the original part)
6) reinstall steel panel and then the inside trim.
There are videos online, but the key step that makes this easy is cutting the plastic where the screws mount on the original part. This will save you much loud profanity and is very easy.
