Two of my sons have Accords (2004 & 2005) and on both cars the hood struts no longer hold the hoods up. I bought a set of this brand for my Dodge truck and they work great, so for Christmas I bought each of them a set for the Accords. They install easily in just a couple minutes and they work great. I think this is a very good value and it saves you from having to hold the hood up each time you open it, or worse, having the hood fall on your head.

This was a quick fix for a 2007 Honda Accord sedan. It worked perfectly and was an easy 5-10 min install. No modifications were needed unlike some other parts you might find. So a one for one fit. They were a third of the cost from the dealer. Now it’s time to see how long they last. It was definitely worth the try.

Just need to bend the bracket more so that it doesnt rub on the hood when it opens and closes. Good quality. Easy replace. Nice stiffness. Can hear the cool air noise when hood lifts.

Just installed these 2 struts on our 2007 Accord EX-L. They arrived well packaged with the struts in sealed plastic bags, in a sealed box that was then protected with heat sealed plastic. The bolt patterns lined up perfectly and was just so easy to install. If you cannot fully prop open your hood during the install, I would suggest getting someone to do that for you. Our car’s hood now opens and closes like new.

Opens the hood with force so beware. Hold onto your hood or else it will slam open.
Huge upgrade since my hood would not stay open on its own. Now its the other way around. The hood slams open due to excessive force but this is a good thing. Just make sure you hold onto your hood while opening.
Quick and easy install. Watch youtube for installation instructions. They un install and install with in one minute. Watch youtube for installation instructions… dont try to figure out on your own like I did waste of time and effort… Very easy install they pop right in place walla youre done less than 1 minute.
Excellent product. As far as longevity only time will tell Ill update if when I experience failure but tbh they seem well made.

My 2007 Accord had failing struts that would only activate halfway as I opened my hood. This product operates well as soon as you open the hood.
