Old hubs would no longer engage. Bought these in hopes of getting my 4wd working before winter. Unclipped and removed retaining ring. Removed old hubs. Installed these hubs. Replaced retaining ring (needed to expand the ring just a bit, to get them to lock into place, nbd). Started up my truck and engaged 4wd with electronic switch. Then, made a few sharp turns to ensure the hubs had engaged. A few small hops later, I knew things were working as designed.
Glad to have my 4wd engaging again. These hubs were inexpensive, easy to install on my ’01 F250 SD (didn’t even have to remove the wheels/tires). 5-minute job per wheel, mostly to get old retaining rings out and new retaining rings to secure in place. If you need new hubs, these work.

Easy installation

While the product worked the way it should, after about 10 miles the paint is peeling off the outside.

Easy install. Fast delivery. Great value

El mismo día que los instale, se me destrozó todo por dentro en varios pedazos y el otro a las 2 semanas se quedó activado y no suelta

These work like they should for me and are affordable. I put petroleum jelly on the o-rings to get them to install easier. The retaining clips didn’t seem to have as much tension as the ones I removed, but they work.
Matt –
Once they were engaged one they didn’t ever disengage properly every thing new in front axle of truck but these hubs just keep failing cheap junk

I installed these on my 04 Ford F350. They auto lock now. Auto lock has not worked for many years. However the dial on the side doesn’t seem to work correctly. If I switch them manually they don’t have that click and can work out. They also work their way out of auto lock. Must check all the time.

These are cheap and you get what you pay for. The putter snap rings didn’t even have any spring to them so the hub fell back out. I used the original ones and they stay put.
