This filter was a perfect fit for my vehicle and installed with ease. I can’t say there was any marked improvement in driving performance, but my engine can breathe easy knowing all the nasties are getting caught in this filter.

I gave it a 3 star on the install because it was such a bear but honestly it wasn’t the fault of the filter but really the fault of Volvo making it such a difficult installation. This thing has to go in at a 90° angle and I really feel like if I tried to do it 10 times that I would only succeed 5 of those. All that said, it can be done and this filter seems like it will do a fine job.

I replaced a Volvo brand air filter with this air filter. It was a perfect fit and appeared to be of identical construction to the Volvo brand air filter.
