The A-Premium Engine Air Filter Compatible with our Subaru Ascent is well made with a pliable rubber seal and metal reinforced frame to prevent the filter element from breaking up and falling into the intake.
The number of pleats appears to be as numerous as the original OEM version that came from Subaru.
Overall, we are very pleased with the sturdy construction and the quality of the fit and finish of A-Premium engine air filters and will continue to replace our vehicle’s air filters with A-Premium in the future!

The A-Premium engine air filter (used with a 2022 Subaru WRX) is a quality product made durable and is great as an alternative to the OEM counterpart.
The product is made well and is easy to install fitting snug and secure like the OEM part. The filter does have a multiple stage system however does seem to lack the thicker carbon paper that the OEM has that prevents hydrocarbon back flow. The carbon filter portion may be within the filter or impregnated with it to prevent gas leaking back into the environment.
The filter seems to do a good job and looks premium as per the physical item and the description on the manufacturer website.
Good value over the OEM part that fits a majority of Subaru’s lineup from 2017-2022.

Sorta fit my 2022 Subaru Outback. The outer frame seems a little weak so when I installed this, it kind of just slides around but seems like it’ll still work. I’d probably wouldn’t buy again in the future.

I have a 2022 Forester and THIS DID NOT FIT. The dimensions aren’t the same. Unfortunately I was past the return date when I tried to install it.
