I’m sure some additive like the red for K&N but this time orange and dry therefore not causing a wet accumulation of black gunk throughout time if you think about it… Starting such causes a bigger mess and clogs. The filter is better than the white and maybe that’s why the manufacturer would recommend it for its additive as I’m sure the green filter it came with had some sort of a coloring to condition the air… It also collected black gunk right away but this one took care of the problem and after two weeks I simply vacuumed it and it looks brand new plus no fibers from the vacuum pulling them like hairs that become lose but instead also… Like oil filters of orange material if not the samr type of carton like cardboard but for filtration. Makes me consider some other A premium products like the carbon cabin filter rhat it cane with that filters like water filters at home.

Did you know it’s,, not the most easiest filter to get? but it took them twice to basically send me an air filter that fit and they didn’t charge me for the last or any of the other and it just took me a little bit more time so I took the old one out cleaned it took a clean paintbrush and took all the dirt out of it and took a vacuum cleaner and stuck it in and it lasted until the next filter came in about a week later and I only paid like 10 bucks for it..
