No indication of “left/right” like the OEM filter but otherwise identical. Install with the printed part number toward the front of the car. Took less than 60 seconds to install, if you’re unsure find a YooToob video for your year and model. Note that the 2.5L engine has a slightly different air filter assembly than the 2.0 and is a bit harder to access.

Fits perfectly in my 23 Mazda cx5 CE. Does the job and good price. Looks and feels good quality. It should fit 17 and up any cx5 since the filter housings are all the same except for the ones with turbo.
