Was a flimsy product . It broke during installation so it was a waste of money

Had the pump installed by a real mechanic, failed within 2 hours, had to send it back, in the mean while I had to get my vehicle towed and buy another pump somewhere local for a lot more and pay the mechanic to drop the tank and remove this failed piece of junk and have the new one I purchased at a local parts store which was a Delphi product, driving for days now, 2004 Mnteer.

When reading reviews initially on buying this fuel pump I noticed that people were talking about it burning out and I would say from my experience that is completely untrue… maybe I received a good one but if you did not then return it and order a replacement because they are definitely not at all a sub-par pump. I put this in my 2004 Ford Explorer Limited and the one thing that was kind of initially a problem was the wiring harness has a circle plug when mine has the 4 plug flat and I ended up having to just cut the plug off and wire it in directly to the four plug but other than that, i lost my job a while back and at the time money was tight so being said,, I have ran out of gas in this truck 20 plus times and run this pump hard doing deliveries and it is ran perfect for close to a year and I have not had any issues with it whatsoever. If you’re looking for a fuel pump and you want a good deal this is the one to get. 5 STARS!
