Pump was beautifully made , and the pump motor was made out of metal ( not plastic , which to me lasts less ) and the shipping was super fast . Install was easy and fit wonderful – no issues . The pump worked great for the whole week and then with the car sat over the weekend …On Monday it wouldn’t start . Took the covers off to check the pump power supply and it was solid 12 plus volts ; tried again and again and after a couple of minutes the pump woke up . Next couple of days it started with more cranking . Then , one morning it just wouldn’t start at all …Not sure if this is a bad batch or a poor quality pump …

Installed this about 3 months ago with daily driving and it is preforming great! I originally bought just the pump and installed it improperly. because of that I had a lot of issues for about a month with the pump not coming on and then having to tap it and then it coming on in the car stalling it was a nightmare. I decided to get rid of that with the old assembly and just order this part brand new. I switched it out and have had no issues whatsoever. Lesson learned definitely install this product properly follow all the steps backwards from your deinstall.

Amazon and the dealer said this fuel pump fit my 2004 VW Passat, so I ordered one. Took the day of work I’m at the mechanic and this part DOES NOT FIT my car!!! So now I’m out a days work and pay and now stuck all day at the shop
