Quality is right up with other pricey brands. This pump was installed on my 2009 Ford escape.

I bought this for a 2009 Ford Escape 3.0L. The install went pretty straightforward, but I have a few notes:
You access the pump through a hatch below the left rear passenger seat. There is a good (but not great) video on Youtube that shows replacing the fuel pump.
The lock ring on my car was locked in place with rust pretty well. If yours has any rust, you will also probably want something like a “6599 Fuel Tank Lock Ring Tool” to help get it out. I soaked the lock ring in penetrating oil and it still took a lot of effort to work the lock ring loose.
Vacuum the area around the fuel pump top before taking the lock ring off (and maybe after as well). You don’t want any debris falling in the tank. When the lock ring is fully released, the top of the fuel pump is spring loaded and will pop up about an inch and a half. It’s best if you can hold the top of the pump down for another vacuuming after the ring is off, but that might be tough.
Time will tell how good this fuel pump is. The OEM Motorcraft replacement pump costs a LOT more. The OEM pump lasted 140K miles and I’m not 100% sure it had actually failed, but it was suspect. I’ll edit this if the pump fails.

Justo como se describe, funciona muy bien.

This fuel pump was installed in a 2009 Ford escape. The part fit and installed like the OEM pump for a much better price. I would buy this part again and recommend it to anyone that needs 2009 Ford fuel pump replacement.

Excelente compra! Es la misma de las fotos y su instalación no es muy complicada, hace menos ruido que la original del vehÃculo.
