Great fuel pump. Works just fine on a 2010 cobalt.
Ryan Crotzer –
I didn’t buy this brand but be warned…This is a PAIN to install. If you need to change your pump make sure to buy a fuel filter also as it’s in the tank also…Here is my million dollar tip…Open the box in the tank to install new pump….Good Luck

I’ve been hesitant to write a review because I didn’t want to jinx it, but I also don’t want anyone else to miss out on what has turned out to be a great deal so far. 09 Cobalt with California emissions here. 30-100 miles daily for 3 months so far. It’s been long enough that the pain of the replacement job is starting to fade. Be careful not to crimp your lines on tank removal. You’ll need strong small hands to open the housing inside the tank that this goes into and careful hands so you don’t damage the sending unit.
This part runs just as well as the original this far. Incredibly pleased. Given the unlikelihood of finding an alternative and the insane pricing of alternatives, this saved me from possibly junking a paid for car that was good otherwise. Again… incredibly pleased!

Recieved this product quickly and packaged well it is a perfect fit for my daughter’s 2009 chevy cobalt , it works great . very happy with the quality .
melissa williams –
Exactly what we needed!
Jeff –
Installation is harder than the traditional non-California model. You need to reach into the gas tank to install it. Once installed it works great and is quiet

I don’t use because I return

The product states it is an exact fit for a 2009 Pontiac G5. This had the wrong size fuel line connection for the Pontiac G5 and the pump does not fit in the slot where the fuel pump goes in the tank on the Pontiac G5. We tried to find ways to make it work but it would not and ultimately had to go buy a different pump and that ended up working just fine.
