This filter fit my 2009 subaru legacy perfectly.
I suggest you buy the necessary tools to pop the screw plugs out of the car to access the filter.
Perhaps the seller could suggest to purchase these necessary items with the filter.
Difficulty accessing the filter in my subaru isn’t for someone new to opening up the dash on cars. Prior experience will help.
