Two months ago, I bought this product and installed it in my car. Today, I heard the same sound in my car. When I took it to the mechanic to have it checked, he told me the tensioner was damaged again. It lasted less than three months of use and then it went bad.

great price

I don’t like the quality of the product

The metal used was easily stripped, I finished installing the tensioner and tried putting the serpentine belt on but it stripped. And yes I did use a 19mm wrench. Ended up swapping the pulley and using the old bracket. The only good part to come from this was the pulley. Furthermore, the tensioner had alot of slack on it, easily moved by forcing it with your hand.

Ya lo instalé , funcionando
OnePointRizz –
I replaced my OEM tensioner with this and it somehow seemed to fail and snap the mounting bolt off in the engine block??? I have no idea why this would’ve occurred , maybe it was something else on my vehicle but this is the part where it broke. Also, the metal is pretty soft so DO NOT USE A 12-point WRENCH ON THE TENSIONER TO MOVE IT!!!! Go rent the serpentine belt tool from autozone and make sure you have a 19MM 6POINT socket .

La pieza es 100% compatible con Civic 2014 en donde yo lo instale y funciona muy bien.

I’ve had this installed for 2 weeks and my belt started squealing horribly. The belt is verry loose and when I push on the belt the tentioner moves. Would not recommend waisting time with it, just get a quality one and be done, don’t waist time on this cheap junk.
