Bought 8 months ago and it already needs to be replaced. Never again! It should come with some type of warranty or replacement if it goes out before a year.

I originally gave this 5 stars. Original review below. This past week, the alternator failed. The battery light came on and I lost power steering. Then I lost all the internal lights and my dash went crazy, then dark. Finally, I lost all control of the speed/gear I could achieve. Luckily, I was nearly to work after dropping kids off at school. The battery power got me that far, but it gave out and I could only go up to about 10mph and park by my work. Wife came and picked up the battery to charge while I worked, and it got me home. Removed this alternator and had it tested at auto parts store. It failed. Replaced alternator and all problems went away. I put the alternator into the mini van in June, and it failed in October of the same year. I am now going to try to get my money back through the warranty process. I will revise this review with how well or problematic that process is.
I have had no response back from the vendor regarding the warranty. There is no way to contact them from what I can see except through Amazon. Amazon informed me my message would be sent to the vendor, and I have not received any response since. It has been pushing 2 weeks now. I would not trust this company or any warranty offer they give.
Original review: It fit as it should. No noises or issues with power. 2000 miles or so since put in, not a single thing to speak about. Part works.

2011 Toyota Sienna, 166k miles. Alternator finally died, and fortunately that was the only problem at the time. Found numerous videos on YouTube to DIY replace the alternator, and finally ordered this. It seems to be working fine 5k miles (and two months) later.
Hoping it keeps performing well. Hard not to recommend this product for this price! I may have also gotten lucky based on some of the other reviews I’ve read about this alternator, but I’m a real person in Wisconsin (I’m not a bot or a purchased review), and I’m satisfied with the product!

This NEW alternator was almost half the cost of some of the refurbished parts. It arrived well packaged and as expected, very clean. The female mounting bracket did not fit tightly on the male end of the motor, which was very nice because you don’t have much room work on this vehicle. All of the hookups were snug and I have had no issues with the product at all. I highly recommend.
