Fairly easy replacement installation. Cable was a little long, but minor differences were to be expected given that this was no an OEM part. Definitely worked well and did the job! Would buy again if I had to.

For the half fairing 2002 SV650S this cable is a little long. I recommend that you measure the distance you need it to be and order one that fits the length rather than the model. I have about 3 inches of slack in mine that bunch up by the handle. It works great, though. Make sure to lube it up well!

The clutch cable replacement was easy to switch out. The replacement fit great although it seemed a little longer. Been over a month and i haven’t had any problems on my commuting bike.

Its a clutch cable. About as basic as it gets. Seems to be holding up well after about 500 miles of mostly suburban riding (lots of shifting and stopping). Looks and felt just like a factory cable. EDIT: after about 6k miles the cable frayed at the clutch lever and began snagging inside the jacket. I lube cables and check tension at every oil change. Buy an oem cable and save the hassle.

Fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Now my clutch is smooth as butter. I did lube it up a little bit before I put it on the bike just to be safe. This also comes with replacement jam nuts which is good as the old ones were slightly corroded.

Fits perfect and installs easily. I can’t believe how smooth and easy my clutch is compared to the old one (which snapped at the end that goes in to the clutch handle while I was out riding – D’oh!). I did not bother ordering the Motion Pro Cable Lube – I just installed it dry and will lube the cable ends as necessary…it is not “dry” when it arrives as suggested by the manufacturer, it has a silicone or teflon coating on it from the factory.

Cable snapped on my 3rd ride. Luckily I was about to pull into the parking lot at work when this happened.
