The 98Pack 3 Inch Car Buffer Polisher Kit with 5/16″ & 1/4″ Shanks for Sanding, Polishing, Waxing, Sealing Glaze comes with all the accessories you need for your polishing projects. The included sanding pads ranging from P1000 to P3000 are great for drill attachment and offer a variety of options for different polishing needs. However, some users have reported that the pads are not very durable and may wear out quickly with frequent use. Despite this issue, It works great for small projects. I use the it to clean and polish vintage vending machines.

I love the hex shaft which fits directly into my Milwaukee drill. Used it for sanding down those headlights and reconditioning them, as well as puffing out the lower quarter panels of my truck.

I got those set of sanding papers and foams to cleans of some hazed headlights and they work well as long as you don’t put excessive pressure on them.

This is basically an entry-level assortment of buffing/polishing/sanding accessories for use with a drill. Came tightly packed in a small box – and all 98 pieces were present and as described by the seller.
Got this to do a very specific project – safely rehabilitate the factory original windshield on my 2007 Silverado. Started by giving it a good washing. Removed the dirt but you could still feel the embedded contaminants on the glass. There are those that maintain you can clean this contamination with 0000 steel wool but I have never had the nerve to try it. Too afraid of accidentally scratching the windshield.
Selected the blue wave (medium) foam pad, attached it to the hook and loop sponge backing pad and added the 1/4 inch hex shank. Chucked it up in my battery powered drill. Using Weiman Glass Cooktop Cleaner and Polish (available on Amazon) went over the entire windshield using moderate speed and pressure. Did horizontal and vertical passes. Allowed to dry and buffed off with the wool pad. The results were simply amazing. You can see from the before/after photo of the blue pad just how much contamination was removed that had not come off with just a standard washing. The picture of the cleaned glass does not do it justice. It is smooth to the touch and as clear as it has been in years. The windshield wipers just glide over the surface. Finished up by treating the cleaned windshield with some Rain-X (available on Amazon) water repellant and the final result is just amazing. If you have an older vehicle, it is worth the hour of your time to give it a try.
The blue wave pad and sponge backing plate held up well and cleaned up without too much trouble. I would expect the other foam pads to perform similarly. Not so impressed with the wool pad – had a real tendency to load up.
Have not used the kit for any sanding yet. Has a wide and generous selection of fine grade sanding disks (P1000 – P3000). Visually compared them to some sandpaper I had of equal grits and they appear to be accurately graded.
Not what I would get if I expected to give it heavy duty or daily use but for a weekend DIYer, this kit is perfect to have in the shop or garage for when the occasional need arises. Modestly priced enough to have on hand and has the basics.

I bought this to polish and buff a stone sink. Did not use as intended. It was used to buff and worked OK. Not great but it did what I needed for a good price point. The glue holding the sponges could be better.

I got these pads because of their 3 inch size. I use the various pads to get at areas that the traditional 6 and 7 inch pads can’t reach. The variety, quality, and quantity of the items included in this package would make a much needed set for those wanting to detail small or hard to reach areas.
