- It is known that fuel is delivered into an engine to mix with the air and produce the power needed for a vehicle. The fuel has to be introduced into engine at a specific time and the amount of fuel entering the cylinder is also crucial in determining the power generated by the engine. While fuel injector is responsible for injecting the fuel into the engine, the system that instructs the injector about the quantity of fuel and the time for injection is the FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module).

Works fine. Update Monday going to work truck stalls out misfires and won’t go past 1500 rpms. Had to call in to work that I couldn’t make it, 3 day’s diagnosis to find out this ficm part left me stranded. Replace part with original and trucks running perfectly.
